This site is being built from the ground up so there will be many changes
in the future. Everything that is currently here is functional so you
should not see any of those dreaded "Under Construction" signs. Please check back often to see what has been added.
The next major addition
will be the guided tour. You will be able to take a walk through the shop.
This will allow you to see just why MJ
Printing & Graphics should be your full-service printer.

For your convenience we added the
online quote
form. Use this form when you need pricing on a particular printing project.
We hope you will find it convenient and easy to use. Let
us know if you have any comments or questions about it.

We added the ability for users to upload
their files directly to the website. Once you are logged into the site you
will have access to the file upload
area which will let you send your files directly to us, saving you time and
the expense of sending them via courier, federal express or other conventional
means.

Although
it has not been perfected yet, we have added
the ability to see who else is online. Click
here to see. Once it is working the way it was intended it will be
added as an option on the main menu.
This
feature will only be accessible to users who are logged into the system.

For
your convenience we added the ability to change
your password as well as edit your account
information.

Made some minor changes to the copy. Nothing of any real importance to most
users. Also added some administrative tasks to the site.

Created access to our FTP server from the website. You can now access the
FTP server from the 'Upload Digital File' option. Using the FTP protocol is
much faster and more reliable then the HTTP protocol which is used from the
website.

Converted the main site from session based to cookie based. We now
rely heavily on cookies rather then sessions since session expire and
cookies don't. What this means to you is that you will now remain
logged on as long as your browser is running. For example, you are
preparing to upload a file and get called away. In the past, you would need
to login again before continuing your upload. Now you just continue where
you left off. And it doesn't matter how long you were away, minutes, days,
even weeks later, you can still continue were you left off.
I also made some cosmetic
changes which I will continue to do for the next few days.
May

Added a new page, "Departments"
which simply lists all the departments along with some details. This will
allow a customer to compare their needs with our capabilities.

Reworked the Online Quote Form to repair some minor time-out
issues. Your online session should no longer time-out no matter how long
you are away from the computer as long as our server is still running.

Made internal changes to the 'Upload Digital File' page. It should
now be a more reliable alternative to using our FTP site, although, the FTP
site is still the better option for large files.
